LOCT is a unique and versatile storage solution designed to be durable and portable. A locker that can work on its own or stack-up and multiply to allow for greater storage and possibilities. The locker is built by first year Architecture students at Carleton University and is intended to be used by their creators. The locker becomes a personal item that is used in the studio and taken home at the end of the school year. Over time the lockers will get personalized by their owners, LOCT provides the opportunity to collaborate with fellow students and grow to increase storage, add shelving, and seating.

Kuvuka is a collapsible chair that is portable yet extremely durable. Designed and built for the outdoors, the wood is extremely flexible, and rot-resistant. The Cordura fabric is UV rated, water-resistant, and tear-resistant, affording extreme comfort and longevity.
Designed to contour and flex to fit the user, this chair is also portable and versatile. You can attach a cutting board, or table rather than the included back-rest due to the unique post detailing, and metal reinforcement rods inserted into the wood.

Almonte, a traditional town located just outside the city of Ottawa is looking to develop a new research facility in affiliation with Carleton University. The proposed research center is located on the edge of the mississipe river, sitting next to the Town Hall, a heritage building and community center.
The proposed facility would research and develop Structural Engineering, using the surrounding bridges and rivers to study both bridge engineering and naval engineering. A new facility for Carleton University that will help bridge the gap between Ottawa and Almonte providing new opportunity for the Architecture and Engineering faculty.

The Ottawa Gymnastics Center is home to a number of young athletes aspiring to reach their goals. The facility is in need of a major restoration and redesign that improves the facilities spatial requirements, circulation, and revenue. The proposed facility, LightWeight incorporates the lightness of the gymnasts and the Weight that governs their movements into smart and interactive Architecture. The redesigned facility includes a dynamic façade and floors that can move to increase spatial capacity, generate profit, and provide an ever changing experience.

Located along the St Lawrence River, the Port of Montréal is the largest inland port in the world serving over thirty-six million vessels and generating over one and a half billion dollars annually. PassPort is a proposal that aims to expand the Port of Montreal, increasing the current storage capacity while reclaiming valuable land in Montreal East. PassPort is designed to accommodate modern cruise ships and liquid tankers with greater carrying capacities. The proposal includes the storage of liquid bulk and a cruise terminal that integrates the transportation of goods and tourism within a community enclosure.

UrbanSpark is a proposal to help improve and revitalize Spark Street located in the heart of Ottawa, ON. The current state of the pedestrian only Street is unsafe, lacks infrastructure, and generates a lack of public traffic. The final proposal and presentation includes the design of a versatile folding canopy that adds retail space, seating, and shelter from the elements. The design and presentation was deemed the best and most fit proposal in a competition against 30 other panels.

The logo signifies a screw striking the roof of a house resulting in an Impact, hidden within the logo is the form of the Vitruvian man, symbolizing proportion, dimension, and scale.

The Drop logo symbolizes the CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) colours utilized in print production in the form of an ink drop. The three parts/colours within the logo also signify the three key principles of the company; Easy file submission, convenient 24hr service, and affordable prices.

Savor it with a bite, from Tsavorite. A logo and unique typography was designed to display the company’s heritage and commitment to satisfying everyone’s sweet tooth. A half-eaten cupcake, with a letter “T” enclosed and a dash of icing on top form the main logo. The typography consists of a tented lodge in the form of the letter “A”, a boat and fisherman in the letters “R and I”, a piping bag in the letter “T” going toward the letter “K” in Cakes, and finally a swirl of icing and a chocolate chip at the end.
The logo and typography illustrate Tsavorite Cakes passion for baking and roots in one sweet package.

Cutting Board | Hand Crafted and designed, composed of exotic Padouk wood with a walnut inlay.This cutting board is a two-piece system that includes a serving dish/plate.
Drift wood Shelf | Crafted using left over drift wood pieces and pine boards, this two tier shelf spans over 8 feet and is hung using concealed brackets.
Book Shelf | Crafted using narrow planks of wood which were distressed, stained, and polished to perfection. An aluminium edge was added to contrast the softness of the wood and keep the books from sliding away.
